hatha yoga
The Sanskrit word
"Yoga" means "to join together or unite." Yoga teaches us how to
unite our body, mind and spirit and return to the wholeness that is
our true nature. Over thousands of years, the practice of yoga has
proven itself an effective way to cultivate physical health, develop
concentration, experience peace of mind, and realize our oneness in
Spirit. Hatha Yoga focuses on physical postures and specific
breathing practices. However, also present are self-discipline,
mindfulness, unbroken mental focus, and devotion.
restorative yoga
The fully supported
postures of Restorative Yoga promote breath awareness and deep
relaxation. Soothe your nerves and recharge your immune system in
this meditative, non weight bearing practice. Restorative yoga is
appropriate for people with physical challenges or recovering from
illness, for pregnant or menstruating women, or for anyone who needs
rest in stressful time.
